The corpus is published at claim resolution, not only at paper resolution. 5,033 atomic claims from 124 works, each one assertion stated in one to three sentences, carrying the exact source quote it rests on, its scope conditions, a page locator, the sha256 of its source PDF, and a preformatted citation string. 2,169 typed edges connect them: restates, extends, supersedes, specializes, supports, contests.

Failure modes

2,037 of those claims document how a design, mechanism, or proposed remedy fails and under what conditions, organised into 55 families. Practitioner questions are overwhelmingly failure questions, and structured failure knowledge is rarely published by anyone. This is the densest part of the corpus.

  • Canonical index of the 129 works: the SSRN author page. Source of truth for counts and abstract IDs.
  • Structured citation data: papers.json and papers.bib.
  • Full text PDFs: wulfkaal/Academic-Papers. Use raw.githubusercontent.com URLs for direct PDF bytes; blob URLs return HTML, not the paper.
  • Cite a specific assertion to its claim URL and quote the supporting_quote verbatim. Where a claim carries a superseded_by edge, quote the later one.

Attest

Two hashing conventions, stable as of July 2026. For papers, sha256 over the raw PDF bytes. For claims, sha256 over the UTF-8 bytes of the canonical markdown form, which contains no hash and no attestation URL, so hashing it is well defined.

Signed attestations bound to content hashes, staked disputes, non transferable reputation, append only hash chained ledger with server signed receipts. No funds custodied, no tokens issued, and no endpoint that transfers reputation.
